Job Fair to be Held at North Oakland Medical Centers September 29
~ Continuing Education Courses in Palliative Care and Intensive Physical Therapy ~

Pontiac -- A healthcare job fair is being held as part of an open house at North Oakland Medical Centers’ main cafeteria located at 461 West Huron Street (M-59) in Pontiac on September 29 from 10am-2pm. The open house will include on-the-spot interviews for positions available in nursing, mental health, physical therapy, and other select healthcare positions. Attendees will also be able to participate in prize drawings, tours, and free massages. Two Continuing Education Courses will be hosted by NOMC as part of the event:

  • Saturday, 11am-12pm, “Clinical Crisis and the Dying will be presented by Peg Nelson, NP-BC PCM, a Nurse Practitioner and the Clinical Director for Palliative Care and Pain Services from St. Joseph Mercy-Oakland. This will count as one Contact Hour.

  • Saturday, 1pm-2pm, “Intensive Physical Therapy for Treating Children with Cerebral Palsy: Methods, Motives and Research will be presented by Angela Jackson, MPT/Intensive Pediatric PT, a specialist at NOMC Euro-Pēds® in this emerging therapy for treating children with Cerebral Palsy and other neuromuscular disorders.
