North Oakland Medical Centers to Give Discounted Mammograms to Uninsured for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

To honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, North Oakland Medical Centers (NOMC) will once again provide mammograms to the uninsured on October 20th for a $75 flat fee at all three of their radiology centers in Waterford, Clarkston, and NOMC’s main hospital in Pontiac. The radiologist’s reading fee will also be included. The discount program was implemented to help detect breast cancer for those women who would not normally be able to afford the out-of-pocket cost of a mammogram. Due to the expected high participation in the program, NOMC is asking that an appointment be made ahead of time at all three of the radiology locations. Interested participants should be prepared to pay the $75 in advance with cash or check and call one of the following NOMC clinics to make an appointment in advance:

  • Clarkston Imaging Center (corner of M-15 & Dixie Highway): (248) 922-0439
  • Waterford Ambulatory Care Center (1305 N. Oakland, off M-59 near Williams Lake Rd.): (248) 666-5520 (M-Th)
  • NOMC Radiology (Main Campus, 461 W. Huron, Pontiac): (248) 857-7234
