NOMC delivered over 300 new blankets to the American Red Cross on January 11 as a result of the hospital’s successful blanket drive over the holidays. Red Cross volunteers delivered the blankets to the Red Cross warehouse where various metro Detroit shelters will retrieve them as needed during the cold spell currently affecting Metro Detroit.

NOMC and the Red Cross partnered up for the program for the first time this past holiday season.
Jamie Tenuta, NOMC’s Director of Patient Relations, spearheaded the campaign in Pontiac and enlisted the support of the Pontiac-based church, Welcome Baptist Missionary Church, and the Walmart in Roseville.
